Every animal, every species.
Rosters for chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, rabbits, turkeys, quail, horses — with egg counts, medical records, breeding, and purchase costs that flow straight into your books instead of a shoebox.
Animals, garden, grazing maps, orchard, money, and taxes — EveryHomestead keeps track of all of it. And everything you record is yours: free to keep, free to export, forever.
I didn’t set out to build an app. I set out to keep track of our own place — where the sheep were grazing, what the hens were laying, which beds were planted, and what it was all actually costing us. Notebooks and spreadsheets weren’t cutting it, so I built a tool for us.
Then friends with homesteads started using it. They liked it enough that I figured other homesteads and farms could use it too.
EveryHomestead is built and tested every day on our working homestead in the Texas Cross Timbers region.

Walk your fence lines with GPS (with a live accuracy readout so you know when the fix is good), or draw paddocks right on the satellite photo. Recovery coloring shows which paddock is ready. Logging your moves is free — the mapping and planning toolkit is Plus.
A bed planner you’ll actually use, companion-planting warnings, a 750-plant zone-aware database, and a harvest calendar built from what you planted. If a plant isn’t in the database, add your own — and choose to share it. Once approved, it merges into the master database for everyone.
Track every expense and sale free. Plus adds the Farm Ledger: profit by enterprise (“does the egg operation actually make money?”), quarterly views, and an IRS Schedule F export your tax preparer will thank you for.
Connect your own weather station — Ecowitt, Froggit, and other Fine Offset stations work out of the box, and anything that can upload Weather Underground format (WeeWX, Meteobridge) works too. No station? Automatic local estimates are built in. Rainfall and temps show up right on your paddock map.
Invite your spouse and kids free. One Plus subscription covers everyone on the place.
No two homesteads run the same, so the app doesn’t either: hide the modules you don’t use, order the rest however makes sense for your place, and pin your most-used ones to the bottom bar so they’re one thumb-tap away. Raise chickens and bees but no cattle? Your home screen shows exactly that.
EveryHomestead runs in any web browser — plan next season from the comfort of your desk, then log the day’s work from your phone standing in the pasture. Same records, everywhere, nothing to install.

Every farm starts with 30 days of Plus free — no card required.
Export everything to CSV any time, on the free plan, no questions asked. If you cancel Plus, you lose the power tools — never your data. We don’t sell your information and there are no ads.
Nothing scary. Your data stays right where it is, the Plus tools lock, and you can keep using everything on the free plan — including exporting all your records any time.
No. EveryHomestead is built for homesteads first — a few hens in the backyard counts. Larger farms get plenty out of it too.
Yes — family sharing is free. Everyone in your household works from the same records, and one Plus subscription covers the whole place.
Bring them with you. EveryHomestead imports from CSV, so your spreadsheet history comes along instead of starting over.
Not yet — EveryHomestead is a web app because that’s how I actually use it: on the computer at the desk, and in the browser on my phone out in the field. It works on any device today, with nothing to install and nothing to update. You can add it to your phone’s home screen and it works just like an app. If enough folks ask — and a native app can genuinely do something the web app can’t — an App Store version is on the table.
